Seven Suits for Seven Brothas - in August 2019 we were proud to dress groom and groomsmen for Justyn’s Big Day in three piece suits and monogrammed, bespoke shirts, too. His uncle Big Raye is on his right.

Photo shows Nile on the red carpet in London wearing his “Up all Night to get Seven Lucky Gods” suit. The lining was custom printed with an etching of the Seven Lucky Gods of his beloved Japan.
Three of the seven Lucky Gods from the full set of Satsuma ceramic buttons dating from c.1900 - as confirmed by another client and our neighbourhood’s ‘im-off-the-telly” Mark Hill, the Antiques Road Show’s 20th century ceramics expert. They were sourced for us by our button pusher, Martin of the Button Queen. They are lying on the silk twill lining we printed with an engraving of the seven gods together. One of our specialities is custom printed linings, that we achieve with husband and wife team Dan and Louise Hatley.
Kate was a student at the Royal School of Needlework when she embroidered the gold silk lattice across Nile’s jacket front. The “imperfect” brief was a challenge for her but it had to be that way as only Lucky Gods can achieve perfection.
You don’t have to be a Rock Star to wear our clobber. To demonstrate, here is our favourite Stone Celebrity, the granite crumpet that is Simon Hunter, sporting our pistol-packing jeans. The cotton twill was woven by Daniel of the London Cloth Company.
Simon's company, Britannicus Stone, uses the motto "Rare, Beautiful and British". We're hearing that.

The Man of Stone who walks across mountains before lunch time makes another appearance… this time in his black corduroy suit (Cord du Roy… the Cloth of Kings) with the deepest groove. In other words, the gouge, in keeping with Simon’s scale, is great.
Simon’s jacket is lined in cotton sateen with slippery arms that show off that petrol shimmer. Vroooom!
Our style doesn’t scream “Look at me” it quietly seduces a second look, it rewards the perspicacious with interesting details. But you can’t hussssh the band Casper, they’ve warmed up now, ready to rrroar…
Why shouldnt’t you blow your own horn, you’re gorgeous, and you deserve to be dressed in the best. Andy Davies, jazz cat, knows that.
